COAST MERIDIAN PAC AGM MEETING
JUNE 12, 2025 AT 6:30PM
Our AGM will be held in-person in the Coast Meridian Elementary Library at 6:30pm.
We will be offering babysitting services in the multi-purpose room during the AGM for parents that need to bring their kid(s) and they will be supervised by older students.
During our Annual General Meeting (AGM)
we will cover the following:
Vote on the Preliminary 2025/2026 PAC Budget
We have a preliminary budget for the 2025/2026 school year, which must be voted on at the AGM.
This is an estimate of our income, expenses and items we have budgeted for the school.
Voting on Executive PAC members for the 2025/2026 School year
The Executive is elected annually by our members which consist of every parent/guardian at our school. Our members (you!) are encouraged to participate as much or as little as they are able. Our success as a PAC throughout the year is critically dependent on parent involvement, even if it is just your voice.

Executive Roles explained:
CHAIRPERSON:
Prepare meeting agendas, preside at meetings, appoint committees.
Ensure PAC activities achieve the purpose as set out in the Constitution.
*as per bylaws candidates for Chair shall have severed a minimum of one (1) year in an executive position on the Coast Meridian PAC.
VICE-CHAIRPERSON:
Support the Chairperson. Assume responsibilities & duties of Chairperson in their absence.
TREASURER:
Signing officer, provide a Treasurer’s Report at each monthly meeting. Ensure all PAC funds properly accounted for, all financial records retained. Work with Exec on drafting an annual budget, disburse funds as authorized by the PAC.
PAC SECRETARY:
Ensure members notified of meetings, record & file meeting minutes. Manage all volunteer communications / keep current & manage our Coast PAC email. Route a copy of meeting minutes to the PAC, ensure safekeeping of PAC records.
DISTRICT PAC REPRESENTATIVE
Regularly attend meetings of the Surrey DPAC (monthly), represent, speak, and vote on behalf of the PAC. Report regularly to the PAC on all matters relating to the DPAC.
