The Coast Meridian “Playground Retrofit Fundraiser” !
The Coast Meridian PAC is a group of volunteer parents who are looking for your support to help raise funds for the playground where we will be replacing a few pieces that have been removed over the past year, as well as adding some new playground pieces to help make the playground more inclusive for all children in our community. The Playground is paid for by funds raised by the PAC, donations and grants we receive through different organizations.

We need your help to retrofit our playground at Coast Meridian.
Coast Meridian PAC is a registered charity and as that we are
able to provide tax receipts for all donations over $25.

Playground Retrofit Plan
We are planning to retrofit our playground in 3 phases (shown below) so we can help manage costs and also to give immediate updates to our playground this year.
Phase 1 (Fall 2023):
We are excited to announce that we have paid for the replacement of the two broken/missing spinners that were removed earlier this year due to damage. We are hopeful that they will be replaced in the Fall of 2023. Below are the two spinners that have been purchased and the total cost of this phase is $15,310.00
Phase 2 & 3:
We will be replacing a small section of the playground that is currently wood chips and replacing it with rubberized flooring. The section being modified is where the current metal dome is sitting. The metal dome will be removed as the school district has said that this piece of equipment was due to be removed in the next 5 years. In place of the metal dome we will be adding some sensory friendly pieces of equipment (phase 2) and a piece of equipment that is inclusive for all children in the community to use (phase 3). Once we have more information on the piece of equipment and the cost we will be able to update our plan for phase 2 and 3.
